DynaStation II

      The Evolution of a Legend

After the sensational success of the DynaStation I CD player–which has achieved a cult status-we now present the DynaStation II.

The DynaStation I, considered by many to be the most musical CD player, is a player that outperforms most of the multi 10k players. So then what could we do to make it better?

Conceptually and in terms of circuit design – We’ve done nothing at all!

The experience we’ve acquired with historical tubes in the development of the DynaWatt amp and DynaControl preamp has shown us just how much better the performance of tubes from the 1930’s are in comparison to newer tubes.

The DynaStation II, just like the DynaWatt and DynaControl amplifiers, uses the legendary German R-Series: RENS1374d, and as rectifier, a RGN1064. Both are NOS (New, Old Stock) tubes from the 1930’s.

These historical broadcast tubes are from the biblical age of tubes and are exceptionally rare. NOS tubes, like these, are collector’s items and are very valuable.

Thus, the price is much higher than that of the EL 34 tubes used in the DynaStation I CD player.

The effort and search is worth it.

Anyone who has listened to the DynaStation I and heard its ability to outperform 15.000 k reference CD players could never imagine that an improvement would be possible.

A brief listening comparison is very enlightening.

The DynaStation II is not only in some minor aspects slightly better that Dynastation I, this is in all aspects a completely different world. The CD reproduction reaches a level that even we thought would never be possible.

The DynaStation II outperforms the Dynastation I as the Dynastation I outperforms a $200 standard player.

Doing all this, and still at a price point that brings up the question, is there any need for a higher priced player?

Upgrading from the Dynastation I to Dynastation II is possible without any problems.

The rare NOS-tubes of the legendary R-Series from Telefunken catapult the sound of the DynaStation into never before reached spheres.

The proven 32bit DSP of the DynaStation II guaranties the highest computing power for the D/A-conversion.
